HELM is a collaborative project funded under the 7th Research Framework Programme of the EU.

HELM is an integrated project on a large scale: the consortium consists of 19 partners from six European member states and 1 ICPC.

HELM will investigate advanced processing technologies based on high frequency electromagnetic waves (RF and MW) for the thermal treatment / treament of CMC and EG.

HELM consortium brings together some of the leading European experts in ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) and expanded graphite (EG) sectors – industry leaders and several innovative SMEs.

HELM will provide advanced technical solutions and demonstrate their impact and effectiveness beyond the proof-of-concept, in order to exploit the RTD results in the relevant sectors industries.
